Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and Hickory wooden handles or cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The curved pick hammer is like the pick hammer except the pick end is bent in arc of normal blow. It reaches behind reinforcements to difficult spots. Face, 1 ¼” round point, 1/32” radius. Length of pointed end, 5 ½”.
