Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and Hickory wooden handles or cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The sharp point finishing hammer has a sharp point, which allows for long reach. It is used for low spots on high crown panels and other work with long reach. Round face—1 9/16” diameter. Sharp point 3” long.
